Contributions in kind
A contribution in kind to the PMT Swiss Real Estate L-QIF enables real estate developers and companies to participate in the fund. In return, the current property owners receive fund units. This enables investors to diversify their portfolio, benefit from professional management and potential tax advantages.
Contributions in kind offer a range of benefits, depending on the target group:
- Pension funds can generally transfer real estate to the fund without tax affects – an efficient way to optimise their investment structure.
- Companies, on the other hand, can benefit from the sale and leaseback option, which frees up tied up capital while allowing them to use their real estate at the same time.
